Charnioscus is a species of fungus that preys on plants such as daffodills and sunflowers. It holds the world record for being the worlds largest fungi at around 16 cm long and weighing in at 15 grams. Smaller species are 2.5-10 micrometers long. They are also known to prey on big cats such as cheetahs and cougars.

It has a row of spikes going vertically along it's back and males eyes and tounge are purple white females are a tint darker. They are always green, flexible and stretchy.
